Welcome to a new year of photography class! This year, your 4th grade students will study how to create a great picture including the use of color, line, rhythm, and lighting. The fifth grade students will pick up where they left off last year, continuing to sharpen their photographic skills. The Picasa 3 program is still our program of choice as we learn to manipulate our pictures on the computer. Thanks to your support, last year was super, and we anticipate even more fun this year. Videos and Podcasts Class Announcements What a Show!Thank you to everywone who attended our Celebration of The Arts on May 6. I would also like to say a special thank you to any and everybody who helped to put that show together. We have a multi-talented group of students at North Elementary and truly enjoy showcasing their work for the public.
The second annual "Evening to Remember" is now history, but be sure to look for an even better show in 2011! Week of 4/26 through 4/30Best wishes to all students involved in TAKs testing this week. Remember, Thursday, May 6, is our evening to celebrate the fine arts programs we have at Cooper North. You will hear music from some of our piano students and one young fiddle player. You will also see an amazing display of medieval castles created by our gifted and talented students. Then, the highlight of the evening will be photographic art created by our fifth graders. Please make plans to attend. It promises to be "An Evening to Remember."
